Interior Development
This car can carry four persons and has dedicated storage space for each of them where they can put their Laptop bags and other stuff directly. These storage spaces are open shelf type on instrument panel itself. It also has a flexible seating system, where user can use multiple patterns for seating arrangements like facing at each other, facing in same direction, like a flat bed and many others.
The car is compact and has a length of 3665 mm and height of 1695 mm with a wheel base of 2440 mm. Li-ion batteries are under the floor with control equipments in the front and rear ends of the car. Wheels are powered by hub mounted electric motors. This car can be charged on any of the parking spots. Its interiors are flexible and simple and easy to clean and maintain. Materials used are recyclable, durable with a replaceable covering on it for cleaning.
Concept Anyway Interiors
Concept-anyway is a public car for commuters in the city. It is made to run inside the central zone of the city using electricity as a propulsion fuel. This car is a part of PubliCAR service which will be taken care by the Victorian government initially and can become a semi government body later on. User has a flexible access to these cars as well as service using different interfaces and mediums provided, for example using their own mobile phone, websites, car instrument panel or kiosk at parking spots.
It can be used by various user groups like business commuters, students, working people for their primary as well as secondary needs including shopping and cultural meetings.
The Your Concept Car Interior
YACC designers describe the car's interior as more living room than cockpit, replete with modern furnishing fabrics. The interior design hints at the role women played in the cockpit with the ponytail notch in the headrest, the additional thought for storage, and interchangeable seat covers and carpeting fabrics.
"Let's bring the living room into the car," said Maria UCLA, Color and Trim designer. "Let's use materials, not obscured by coats of shiny enamel."
Space and storage are maximized throughout the YACC interior. The gear shifter, usually positioned between the driver and passenger seat, is located on the steering column, and the parking brake is electronic and integrated further increasing interior space.
With the gear shifter and parking brake out of the way, the center console in the YACC provides significantly more storage. The console is divided into three compartments. A shallow compartment is available for keys, mobile phones, coins, and other small items. Slide back this top compartment to reveal a larger compartment for a handbag. Yet another compartment is available for a notebook computer. The center console also features a cooler and a wastebasket.

So should you buy this? I’d say only if you are a car simulation enthusiast given it’s price and limited availability. Otherwise if you love more realistic driving and/or love to drive with clutch & shifter simulation I think it’s a great choice. The wheel itself feels a lot more realistic and heavier and while it won’t necessarily give you faster track times it does give you a more realistic drive.I have to say initial impressions weren’t that favorable but once I tweaked several settings like the force feedback and drift settings I love it. Also using manual clutch at first seemed bit tough to drive but it does add a new dimension/difficulty to the game.Note one thing to point out is that some people reported some quality issues with the wheel and support can be a bit slow. But warranty I believe is 2 years.I do hope that we’ll see more competition in the future and hopefully Logitech will consider bringing their products to the XBOX 360 as well since they are more comparable and less pricey. But for now this is the only choice if you want a higher quality steering wheel with manual shift capability.
Buttons: at first glance you’d think that the Fanatec wheel has less buttons. However some are little bit hidden. For instance the 4 way pad and the back/start buttons are at the bottom. It has in addition shoulder buttons (but unfortunately also no analog pad to look around). The button layout takes little bit time to get used as for instance the A/B/X/Y buttons are not layout in 4 directions so this makes it harder to intuitively look around using those buttons.
